We have an immediate opening for a Royalty Intern, an ideal opportunity for a motivated and intelligent accounting, business or computer systems major interested in breaking into the business side of media & entertainment. During your internship you will be assigned to a variety of real-world projects. We’ll train you how to use our software systems and workflow so you can provide ongoing contributions to our team effort. These experiences will help you to gain a better understanding of what a career at a professional royalty management and accounting firm is like.

Responsibilities

  • Use royalty management software to set up royalty rate terms and label copy information
  • Enter quarterly sales, costs, reserves and related data for clients in royalty system
  • Review royalty statements for accuracy
  • Research unknown song publisher shares
  • Other music related projects
  • General office administrative tasks

 

Qualifications

  • Solid math skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Accounting, Finance or Information Systems major preferred

 

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for all candidates.
