Los Angeles, California, November 29, 2010 – BMG Rights Management has agreed a deal to acquire Chrysalis, one of the world’s largest independent music publishers.

Chrysalis’s catalog includes 100,000 compositions, including songs by David Bowie and Michael Jackson, as well as artists like Sheryl Crow and Blondie. It is the fifth acquisition this year by BMG, following Evergreen, Cherry Lane, Stage Three and Adage IV.
